Sure glad we did not give up what little we had to get him. Sucks for him!! Get him on discount next year.

Shame he has had these bad injuries the past couple years. Hopefully Green gets healthy and finds a team that can utilize his talents. His excellent play kept Dalton afloat for many years.

I'm not sure he wouldn't be healthy if he had been traded and contract extended.

Right now he is on a winless team at 31 years old during a contract year, on a team that is about to be in full rebuild mode, my ankle would be hurt too as well as my elbow, wrist, eyebrows, leg hair, that little soft spot of skin behind my arm pit, inner ear infection would be screwing with my balance and dry scalp would be keeping me out the rest of the season.

if he is healthy and doing this then fark him I don't want him. Regardless of how his team is doing, he is still getting $12 million this year

I'm pretty sure the Bengals don't want him out there anyway and the two sides have had long discussions. The Bengals are in a heated race with the Dolphins, Jets and Redskins.

if that were the case, why not put him on IR?

How many players lately have had lingering injuries in a quest to just be traded?

I don't buy that. You can't fake your ankle swelling up. Seems like a pretty tough thing to cover up. It's not like a sore back that you can't even test for.

He doesn't come across as a head case like some of these guys. He'll play for who ever pays him. I don't know if you should pay him because of his health though.

Why you guys acting like players don't take a physical for the trade to go through? Our medical staff dodge one if anything.
