With our luck with injuries we are sure drafting hard players with them. Did we change out our medical staff too this offseason?

We don't like Anzalone because of injury issues BUT we would have been all in on Foster at mike, despite shoulder issues and possible concussion issues on a guy who really likes to hit?

Go figure

Anzalone could be Clay Matthews...more Clay Matthews like than TJ Watt in fact.

However, to be honest why do I feel like Duke Riley was stolen right from under our nose by ATL

Just because a guy is healthy in College doesn't mean he wont sustain injuries in the pro's and just because a guy is injured in College doesn't mean his career will be similar in the pro's

Its little bit of luck both way's I presume. He checks the good FB player box though more than anything.

None of his injuries are lower body injuries so his wheels work and for a LB those wheels are important. Injuries are concerning but again...good FB player.

I like the draft so far.

To top it off might as well take a shot on Chad Kelly in the 6th lol.

Interestingly enough I get to watch Daeshon Hall closely....he's the guy I really wanted. Yet they can possibly get a trey hendrickson or something late or Deatrich Wise.

We'll see, Fat lady hasn't sung yet but considering our superbowl year was carried by a 3 headed RB monster and a turnover machine secondary I'd say we definitely got back to that formula with our first 4 picks and Anzalone does add rush ability as well as fitting the LB need.

You've gotta like the vision at least.

Great point. If we picked Sidney Jones we'd all be running around like we'd won the lottery.

I think the last LB the Saints successfully drafted was Pat Swilling. So low expectations. If there was ever a chart about draft bust rate by position for this team, I think LB would be highest bust rate.

Not sure he's a bigger talent than Tim Williams who went two picks later and arguably was stronger in our biggest area of weakness....
