(Any repeat winners from this group will be excluded in 2023. As contest director, I am excluding myself from the contest.)

@SamAndreas is being allowed a provisional entry to this year's contest. We don't want to exclude anyone because they live in the boonies, but we also are aware that self-enforced remoteness deserves attention by the rules committee (made up of the previous year's winners and the CD).

Everyone who decides to take the plunge must declare entry between December 1st and December 4th by posting that declaration in this thread.

I'm really beginning to believe that people are just saying they are out because they want to listen to the song. If they really wanted to be in the game, they would actually read the rules.

BTW, I'm not officially participating, but I am going to track how long it takes for me to hear the song...starting tomorrow.
