He recently signed with the Colts on a three-year deal worth up to $60 million. Pretty pricey. Is this a deal you would of done?

Me too. Although we need the help. Contract is too richThis makes me mad and sad at the same time.
I 100% agree. We are not a player of 2 away from competing.Good news.
He's a great player but we are far away from competing and shouldn't be handing out massive contracts at this point.
Yiadom at his contract is much much better for where we are at.
This is where I'm at as well when it comes to the cornerback action this week.Good news.

Related to that dynamic, we were also chasing Gerald Sensabaugh at safety that same offseason. While Sensabaugh would've been a solid-enough signing, we ended up getting Sharper instead, who caught lightning in a bottle at that position and made all the difference in the world for a defense that overall was ranked only 25th in the league. (of course, that's always in terms of yards allowed, which isn't really the best metric for a defense).I'm cool with it. It happens. Reminds me of 2009. The Saints were chasing Ron Bartell. He eventually picked the Rams over the Saints. The Saints quickly switched course and signed a free agent CB from Buffalo...Jabari Greer.
Sometimes your misses lead to better things.
My thought exactly. If you were planning on going with a team, but then at the last minute, some random came up and just offered you a little more money and you simply chose them because of that then….. laterI mean, if his choice came down to money not sure I want him here anyway. Nothing wrong w/ him choosing the money but if you thought that damn much you'd be a saint, and you wanted to, that extra amount of money wouldn't have made him change course.
We'll get who we're supposed to get at the position. simple as that.

FWIW, his wiki page has his bio in Buffalo blue, yet no confirmed news on him as of right now....Makes me think that we’re about to throw a big contract at Asante
