Alvin Kamara is currently in 2nd place behind Mark Ingram, II in the Saints All-Time Leading Rusher list. Ingram had 6,500 yards rushing as a Saint. AK41 currently has 6,334.

Kamara needs 167 more rushing yards to become the Saints All-Time Leading Rusher. He is currently averaging 63.1 yards per game rushing. At that pace he would set the record in Week 11 against the Browns in the Dome.

It would be awesome if he could break the record in Week 10 against the Clowns at home in the Dome.

If he can get over 100 yards rushing this week against the Pansies, he would have an excellent chance of becoming the Saints All-Time Leading Rusher in Week 10 against the Cons.

Looking forward to it!!!

Yay, an actual milestone we care about....

One of the very few reasons to watch the Saints, one of the very few players who play hard, every play....

To me, it's crazy that Mark Ingram is the Saints all time leading rusher. I remember his first couple seasons, he appeared to be a bust. He looked horrible IMO. But, he seemed to catch on and became very productive. I think his longevity played a part more than his talent. Never seemed to get injured either if i remember correctly.

Alvin, is without a doubt the most talented RB the Saints have ever had. Way better than Deuce IMO. Deuce was great though. I loved him, and think he could have been a HOF RB if he could have stayed healthy. Kamara is a different breed. His vision and balance may possibly be the best ive ever seen. Balance for sure. He's always appeared to be running in slow motion but no one could catch him. His running style made him appear slow to the eye. But, he wasn't. Smooth as butta. I think he is highly underrated.

Wasn't it Coach Haslett, that wanted Deuce to beef up from about 215 to 235+ ? Maybe that hurted his body more than it helped, in retrospect. But yeah, Kamara is the better Back and yet Deuce brought me to the Saints, back then. He was a glimpse of hope in a very average offense and a bad defense.

I believe shortly after we drafted MI he got a bad case of turf toe and continued to try and play on it....I remember many folks mentioning that he didn't seem to have the same lateral movement (quick cutting) as he did at AL......

Turf toe sucks, it can linger for a long, long time....Once he got completely healthy we saw what he could do.....but, honestly I think Duece was better, that moron Haslett likely shortened his career....he was a much better back at 220....

I remember something about this. Duece was head and shoulders above Mark. Production and talent wise. DMC was the real deal.
