Well you would have thought management would have took into account his past health history before they signed him to a new deal. Unless they thought he was worth the risk. Obviously it was a very poor decision.

of course they took it into consideration and they obviously did think it was worth the risk. Maybe there just wasn't good enough other options to meet the required line and backups you need to go into that season. It looks in every way imaginable like a bad investment now but even the best don't hit on every contract as a great one.
