N/S Andy Dalton involved in a car accident (Update: Dalton doubtful with thumb injury) (1 Viewer)

Don’t misconstrue. I started my reply with I hope everyone is ok. Was just making a very lighthearted joke about his on field play. Made no joke about the accident, nor would I ever.

I am very much aware that football is minuscule in the grand scheme of things, promise you that.
Make no mistake...in 2024 very little is funny without proper approval

Sorry that I misconstrued. Just came across wrong. My bad

Here in NOLA drivers are bad I always assumed the worse but man you want to talk about the worst ones, it’s south Florida by a landslide they tend to “tap” cars if someone is in your way. Here in NOLA you tap someone they are stoping falling out of the car grabbing their neck and filing a lawsuit against you the next week. In south Florida bumping someone is just like blowing your horn.
Floridiots in general are the worst drivers.

Looks like Dalton is going to miss this weekend's game due to a thumb injury he sustained in the accident (per Rotowire).

Charlotte has terrible drivers. It’s like all of the bad drivers from other cities, states, countries all decided to move here and not adhere to the rules of the road. Just yesterday I had two idiots try and make illegal left hand turns, from the right lane, while I’m in the left lane, dang near right on the side of them. How the heck do you not see a car beside you? This was all during a 4 mile drive. Thought the universe was trying to send me a message
You ought to try driving in Massachusetts. I have to two-three times a year and have to grit my teeth the entire time. Those people don't believe in speed limits and think the 2 sec rule is 2 tenths of a second.

Completely agree. My job has sent me to Boston a handful of times. Cars drive on the sidewalks to evade traffic congestion. Dang near got hit. The first time I visited there. Got to my hotel and called a Lyft so I can see the city. The driver was a very talkative one. She kept looking in the rear view mirror at me while talking. She side swiped a cop, who was parked after giving a citation to someone. Lady talked so much, she didn’t even realize that she had hit the cop. He put his lights on and chased us. He stopped us and her greeting to the cop was “What the Hell do you want”?!?! I was in shock. She was giving him the business, and even denying side swiping him🤣. I had the app opened in the backseat so he wouldn’t ask me any questions. She told him that she was not going to attend any court crap, etc. Essentially telling the cop to p*ss of. Once we got back onto the road, I had her drop me off well before my destination. You are right. They are rare breed out there in Mass

When we lived in Jersey, my parents housed a summer intern who was with a group. They all had one particular Friday off and decided to go down the shore. My mother told them they'd have to take the Turnpike to get there, and to be wary. She said, "the speed limit on the Turnpike is 65 and people are very careful not to go over 90." She nailed it. And much like Massachusetts, they drive right on top of each other. One also learns not to use turn signals to switch lanes because drivers in Jersey will speed up to block you out if you give them that warning.
