another draft bold prediction (1 Viewer)

I'll bite.

I would love to see this since IMO, Smith will hold a clipboard for a few years in the NFL.
Then He'll retire to Columbus and ride the coattails of the Heisman the rest of his life.

PS...I don't really like OSU.

Cleveland jumps in the second round.

For some reason he actually said in public he'd like to play for the Browns. His agent must be cringing.

But it's a good fit IMO. Smith=Brees lite. With a little more mobility and possibly a stronger arm. If he's on the board in round 2 when Cleveland picks they'd be foolish to pass.

He would sell tickets that's for sure.

.

He's an Ohio native I believe. During one of Ohio St. basketball games, he was seen wearing a Cleveland Browns jacket. Plus it would be a good move for him because he would be competing against Frye and Anderson, who he could possibly beat out by his 2nd year.

Someone's gonna jump on him 2nd round.. i don't think he'll go first round, but 2nd round someone like Cleveland or Houston would gladly take a chance on him.

I could see that. Man, if Smith goes to Houson, people here are going to have aneurysms trying to get him playing time. I think I would actually like to see him come to Houson and do well, though.

Troy Smith would = Lebron James. Hometown boy etc.

I hear all the negatives about Smith but I think he's better than what the Browns have now.

Will he be a Pro Bowler? Doubtful to me. But they said the same about Brees too. I would compare Smith as a cross between McNabb and Brees, with a marginally stronger arm than both.
