NFL Draft Anthony Richardson could very well be in play if Saints land a late 1st for Payton. (1 Viewer)

He can improve his accuracy, but I think it is rare to improve significantly. I think it is somewhat innate. Mechanics can be improved, but muscle memory is very hard to change.

I think he can be successful with his skills, but I doubt he’ll be a top 10 QB unless he is that rare person that does improve his accuracy.

I’d also like to see him take that S2 test.
Josh Allen is a perfect example of someone who improved dramatically.

Whatever team drafts AR15 will try put weapons all around him and give him the chance to make easy decisions and succeed with his God-given abilities… much like Hurts…

I just hope it’s not the Panthers, Bucs, or Failclowns…

And the degree to which the Bills have committed to him with scheme/coaching and adding the right playmakers has facilitated that dramatic improvement.
Sure. I don’t think any franchise sets out with the idea of doing anything else.

But getting the QB is most important. Which is why Buffalo took Allen in the top ten and why someone will do the same with Richardson.

The reality is… when I made this thread originally, Anthony Richardson was viewed as a possibility at #29…

Now…

He’s a top 10 pick.

Welcome to the Draft season

I live in the Bills media market and have some friends close to the team. The most impressive thing about Allen's development is how much better he has gotten between seasons when he's away from the team. Between fixing his footwork or throwing mechanics he's made huge strides on his own time.

A lot of guys have the desire and work ethic to do that but not many are capable and it's almost impossible to quantify if someone has that ability. I believe it's always an added risk to take a qb who has only started one year because you have such limited data to see if they can get better, as opposed to having tape of a guy demonstrating improvement from one year to the next.

That said, I'm rooting for him, he seems like a good dude.
