Saw Broncos were inviting the XFL sacks leader to their rookie minicamp.
I was wondering if any of you watched the XFL and see if there's any good players that the Saints could look at ?

Any good TE or Linebackers ?

TE isn't as much of a need as we're thinking it is. The club must be extremely happy w/ JJ to not even draft a TE the past couple drafts.
I don’t think we realize Juwan just put up 42/508/7 with average QB play and with his snaps cut into by his predecessor. He’s available for like 95% of games on top of that so his health is A1.

We didn’t implement two TEs that much in the passing game last season to look for more than a blocker in the next complimentary TE.

Skill positions in mind, I’d have to think Abram Smith will get another NFL shot. He looked really good running the ball for DC.

Max Borghi plays hard. He runs hard and catches the ball well. He’s elusive too. Solid RB for Houston.

Cody Latimer played for Orlando and may get another shot. Was a shining star on a bad team. He moved to TE and would be a receiving TE option worth bringing in.

For the most part TE’s didn’t play a huge receiving roll in the XFL. I agree that Sal Canella is probably a guy that could be looked at as depth.

Hakeem Butler sure looks the part of a big WR who can make plays. He was really good for STL.

Other WRs of note were Jahcour Pearson and Josh Gordon for Seattle. Gordon looked lazy at times. Pearson was a gamer. Former LSU Tiger Jontre Kirklin got off to a great start in Houston. After his injury Houston’s offense fell apart.

AJ McCarron and Ben DeNucci are the QBs who will likely get a look. I heard Sean was bringing DeNucci to Denver. Ta’Amu has made an NFL roster before, maybe he gets another chance. Chances are he will lead the Defenders to the championship in about 10 days.

Did T'amu get hurt last week? He isnt going to miss the championship?

Not either position but would welcome back DC Defenders RB Abram Smith gladly

They probably are pretty happy with Krull as well. His RAS scores were pretty awesome and Saints love those RAS scores

Sage Surratt has been doing a nice job as a pass-catching TE for the Breakers, and Vontae Diggs is a good coverage weak-side linebacker. But given that the positions we are probably wanting to add are blocking TE and strong-side linebacker, those guys probably are not fits anyway.
