Going for my first time this summer for a baseball game.

Have no idea on where to stay.....any recommendations on areas to search for hotels?

Like to be in a safe and fun area.....

Thanks in advance,
Outback

Downtown. Easy train ride from the airport, lots to do, and you can walk to the ball park. We did hotwire for a 3 star and ended up at the Westin, which was nice, but I think anything downtown would be fine. Plenty more stuff is an easy uber ride away.

When you say “downtown”.....(for a guy that’s never been there)......is that the area right around Coors?

The area we stayed in was right in the "mall" area (think pedestrian mall, not shopping mall). In the map below, you will see union station, about 3 blocks from the ball park. 16th street is closed to traffic (except for a free bus). The Westin we stayed at was in the same building as the Cheesecake factory.

I lived there for 10 years and just left in 2017. PM me if you want to.

Will you have a car?
