of course, apples prices on memory are and have always been outrageous.

1600 for 32 gigs of ram seems alot better than 9000 haha

I need it to process a video feed from a towed sled array three miles down, to a research ship at sea, up linked via satellite to shore based researchers...you use the RAM as a buffer so you don't exceed the capacity of the up link.
