Whoelse thinks that if the Cardinals make it to the Super Bowl, it will another reason for us Saints fans to hang our heads in shame. It was bad enough the Falcons went in the '98 seaon. But the Cards? Come on! Only the Browns and Lions are consitantly more hapless. I love my Saints, but when will the franchise allow us to move to the big game?? Oh well, at least we had the 2006 season.

actually if the Cards make it they will give fits to either the Steelers or Ravens because they will spread them out and force them to play sub-packages which neither team really excells at

I agree with the OP. Arizona is one of the few franchises out there keeping us from being the worst.

Let them enjoy it. I actually don't care if they make it to the SB or not - I just want to see some good football.
Hopefully, we will have what it takes to make it to, and win the SB - sometime in the near future.

Cards are one of my favorite teams this year because they are alot like us. Sadly, I think that it will be Eagles v Pitt.

well -- they beat the Panthers -- something we could not do -- and beat the falcons who we split with -- so why would you hang your head in shame -- I actually am pulling for them

They beat Dallas in 1998. I think they hadn't had a home playoff game since 47.

Yeah your right. Was that 1998 playoff win their first since the 60's though? I remember hearing something about it and thinking "man they are worse then us."

That's what I said, if the Saints would play an attacking style defense and stay committed to the running game, we could be in the place of the Cardinals. If anyone watched the Cardinals game against Dallas in Arizona, the Cards D looked like a team filled with all pros. They played fast and hit hard, I think they will win this game since they are at home.

And so much for the fans talking about playoff re-seeding and the NFC West being a horrible conference compared to the rest on the NFC considering the Cards knocked off 2 teams from the South. They truly shocked me and should be a blueprint for the Saints.
