Arizona Cardinals (1 Viewer)

What do you have against them really? Because you're jealous? That seems ignorant.

I for one am cheering for them like my own team at this point.

Cards/Ravens hopefully!

:plus-un2:

As a Saints fan I know how it is with people rubbing it in your face that you've never been to the "Big Game". So I hope they can get theirs... we WILL get ours. Just glad I'm a young fan so I'll be around to see it :hihi:

One bad team making it to the superbowl after decades of failure doesn't change the image of a bad team that has failed for decades.

Case in point..... the Bengals have been twice and almost won, but they can't shake the loser label. But I could care less about our past and what people's perceptions are if the SAINTS win it next year. I believe the Cardinals are changing the History books for us. The stars and planets are starting to reallign folks. We get this defense thing fixed and we're gonna do it. I'm lovin me some Kool-Aid right now!

So if the Saints won a Super Bowl, they would still be considered failures?

For their franchise history? Slightly less so, but in the eyes of many yes. Hell I still hear people say the Pats are going to start losing and go "back where they belong" and they've been the best franchise in football the past 15 years.

I'm gonna throw up if Arizona beats Philly, because I, and all Saints fans should, hate Kurt Warner. He was in the coffin, but the NFL didn't nail it shut, and here he is resurrected. It makes me sick.

Im rooting for the Cards. The Saints and the Cards are the same kind of team. Pass 1st teams. The sad thing is i really believe we are the better team if we were a little heathier

There are very few things that would ever make me "hang my head in shame."

Arizona going to the Super Bowl certainly isn't one of them.

I am pulling for them solely because they might be one of the only teams that have been worse then us over in the Super Bowl era. If they win, that only gives me more hope that one day we might do it.

the Cards are a good team guys that have had a story book season in so many ways and who knows if they make the SB, I'd consider it a historical occasion, but the realistic in me says that this SB is Pittsburgh's to lose all the way. Their not Tennessee in any way, where as The Titans kept the Ravens in the game by fumbling the ball in key RZ drives, Steelers won't do that. Their are a few more disciplined, aggressive, and attacking team. They have a bunch of head hunters on that D-squad. Polomanu is only but one of more then a few casts of characters that like to take people out, WR's, RB's, and QB's if they can get their hands on him. their just too good. The only way you beat a team like there's is to have a very good game plan and hope that you can make the best adjustments possible, because you will need them big time.

Plus add in a possible Sunday night snow storm/flurries and probably less then adequate field conditions, and the problems add up. the only team that could them a run for their money is New England WITH Brady as the QB and their are at home right now in Massachusetts.

Kurt Warner would have no prayer vs those guys, my God the Ravens would make his life hell too, so what does that tell you right there

I would agree and i think the offenses of Pitt and Balt are bad but Mcnabb tends to meltdown. I just see the Eagles vs Giants game as the weakest of this past weekend. I think the Cards are playing the best balanced and complete football. However Warner has had time to throw but Mcnabb has not been protected well.
I think it's a little unfair to say the entire Pit offense is bad. Just the oline. The rest of the offense is actually very good, case in point the Chargers game. The defense wasn't as dominant, but the Oline had a good game, thus the offense scored 4 TD's and won the game.

That's what I said, if the Saints would play an attacking style defense and stay committed to the running game, we could be in the place of the Cardinals. If anyone watched the Cardinals game against Dallas in Arizona, the Cards D looked like a team filled with all pros. They played fast and hit hard, I think they will win this game since they are at home. And so much for the fans talking about playoff re-seeding and the NFC West being a horrible conference compared to the rest on the NFC considering the Cards knocked off 2 teams from the South. They truly shocked me and should be a blueprint for the Saints.

I am with you on that, retthib. The Cards are the only team I want to see take the whole shootin' match. And the fact that they kicked the Falcons and the Panthers out of the way makes it all the more sweet!

Since we can't, I like Kurt, Fitzgerald and the whole bunch to get the Lombardi this time.

Cards vs. Ravens at Tampa on Feb. 1 would be a good game, I think.

Arizona is 7-2 at home this season. The Eagles are 5-4-1 on the road.

I want to Arizona to win, cause it would shut up all those people like Tom Jackson and Merrill Hoge who think football is about 3 yard run up the middle again and again.
