Man, this is a weak draft. If the Saints end up with a top 10 pick, I hope they trade it to get another first in 2026 or trade down.

Personally, the trade down in 2025 looks appealing - lots of Round 2-3 goodness, such as the 'not Jeanty' RBs and so many Edge, DT, OL, WR prospects in that range. Basically the draft is strong where we are weak, except QB.

There will likely be one or two unexpected breakout qbs from this draft. Having a good team to evaluate talent can find a gem. Don’t believe the draft gurus, most just repeat the same lines.

Something that you can't see on film is that he was clearly the leader of the team.

He's value goes well beyond his athletic ability.

I think his running style is a perfect compliment for Alvin and will like to have him with the team.

I'm very meh on Skattebo. I think he has great heart, great instincts, great balance, but what he lacks in size and speed cannot be overcome in the NFL. He would probably be a great receiver out of the back field, would probably execute screen plays well, but as an every down running back, I just don't think his game translates. Not only does he not have the speed to get to the corner I don't think he's got the speed to get to the edge. I don't think running inside in the NFL is gonna fit his small frame. He's also problematic with fumbles.
