As A Fan, Which Type Of Victory Do You Prefer? (2 Viewers)

Blowouts. Best regular season victory by far, since the Gleason blocked punt, was dominating the Patriots at home.

If it’s a team I like, I want a finite blow out. Too many times I’ve had to watch the teams I love have a 2 TD lead and somehow lose. It’s freaking heart breaking. So yeah, give me a 4 TD lead every time!

Now if it’s two teams I don’t care about, then I love watching a hard fought back and forth or a come from behind win!

Strange this got bumped. Im.just happy with any win.

All kinds of Saints wins are great for me - but my favorite are the blowouts when the other team is wiping the Saints’ skid marks off their faces the next day. :hihi:

I think that we can all agree that a win is a good thing for whomever your team is. My question is, which type of victory do you prefer:

1. A wire to wire blowout victory;
2. A come from behind of a large deficit to win it in the end; or
3. A hard-fought, back an forth, grind them out, no margin for error, last team with the ball victory?

As a Saints fan, the 09 season had ALL of these and for my HEART's sake, the wire to wire victory is the best, but for sheer epicness you have to look at a come from behind victory or the last second of a hard-fought back and forth game.

For entertainment of impartial parties, I'd imagine that the back and forth game has to be the winner. But what's your personal take?

I like the type of win where we get 40 first downs.

I don't like it when the other team gets 30 points behind and quits, then we stop scoring. I like for the other team to go for it on 4th down several times and not get it. I like 52-6 type games.

As a famous person once said, "The only stat that matters is the final score."

Blowouts are fun and stress-free, but at the end of the day, just win.
