Hello Saints fan, I come in peace. I have mad respect for your team, love Sean Payton and hate that we let Rob Ryan go. He did a great job with a defense that was missing 7 starters on the defense.

I am very excited about this game coming up. I can't get that 2009 Cowboys-Saints game out of my head when Ware played.

However I know these are different teams, Cowboys have a bad pass defense and the Saints have a very improved defense.

I personally can't see how the Cowboys win with their CB, S out and their star DT Hatcher is banged up and might not play. Ware is back so we'll see how he does. The Cowboys have struggled against TEs and RBs in the passing game and Graham and Sproles are some of the best.

So go ahead and ask my anything about the Cowboys. I am very honest and you won't find much bias in my answer. So shoot away.

Do you honestly think Romo could win you a Super Bowl?

No but not in the way you might think. Romo is good enough to win a Super Bowl. He's been very good this year for us (20 TDs, 6 INTs, 100 QBR). Romo also has the second highest QBR in the 4th in NFL history and the most game winning drives since 2011 I believe in the NFL (20).

Jerry Jones is a terrible GM and Garrett is not a good head coach. They always ignore the running game issue every year and Jerry always looks for scape goats while he covers Garrett's a**. Rob Ryan is one example. With what he did with an injury rattled defense and what Garrett did with so much talent on offense, Rob Ryan was better than Garrett.

Romo is 33, he probably has 3-4 seasons left. I don't know if they can fix their running game, Oline, defense in that time span.

I will say this. If Romo was on a team like the Vikings a year ago, Ravens a year ago, etc he could of taken them to the SB and won.

Welcome to the board.. Good luck this weekend. I don't really have any questions, just wanted to say good luck and hope for an injury free game. Who Dat :)

You regretting getting rid of Ryan yet?

absolutely.

But to be fair, Kiffin has been dealing with the same thing.

He's been missing 5 starters on the defense for most games this year. Marinelli has been awesome, making Dlinemen off the street into serviceable players.

Sean Lee has been playing at an all pro level, Jason Hatcher as well, Scandrick and Brandon Carr have being playing very well, Barry Church (Safety) has been playing well. George Selvie has been a hidden gem for this D.

But for some reason, whenever they play a really good QB (Rivers, Manning, Stafford) they get shredded. They've done very well against Eli, RG3, Foles, Ponder (not surprising), Alex Smith etc.

I'd expect a huge day from Brees of course. And looks like Rob turned your guy's D around.

Hello and welcome. I live in DFW (Frisco) and work with Cowboy fans, and all but a couple are VERY afraid of this game. Saints play on another level in prime time especially prime time in the Dome.

Saints are going to score... its going to be up to Romo and that offense to try to keep up. I hope for a clean game with no injuries... its gonna be fun to watch.

they did it against the Broncos, but that was at home. It will be a fun game, unless the Cowboys keep up their struggles on offense. They've not been consistent since the Denver game, with the defense making plays and giving the offense a short field.

I think the Cowboys get going on offense this game tho, but it won't be enough against Brees.

I was a cowboy fan before Jerry took over . What do the fans in Dallas really feel about him ? Is his "over the top self importance "getting old to the fans ? It really seems strange for saint 's fans who have a very low keyed owner and a cocky coach who is the one in control.

Cowboys Fan: When I saw your post, I immediately heard the words "I'm Buzz Lightyear, and I come in peace." :ezbill:

Nothing wrong with being a Cowboys fan in 2013, I guess. I know that your fan base is still pretty supportive.

I've been a Saints' fan since day-one, but as a kid I also liked the Cowboys (especially since the Saints were not good enough back then to contend for a playoff spot). So in the postseason, I was a Dallas fan all the way.

My like for the 'Boys franchise started to fade in the late 1970's, when the Saints became more competitive. But my absolute DISLIKE for the Cowboys happened when Jerry Jones fired Tom Landry the way he did. I agree that it was time for Landry to go... but the WAY he was fired was an absolute disgrace, and I lost any and all respect for the Cowboys' franchise at that point. Anyway, I'm off my soapbox about that.

With respect to the game Sunday night, the key to the game will be something not many are talking about: The Saints' rushing game. If the Saints are not able to pound the rock with 20+ carries, I think it will expose our team before the rest of the NFL on national TV. And with the Carolina Panthers right on our heels, they will likely sweep our 2 upcoming games. If we can't run the ball, I don't see how we can hope for anything better than a game in the Wildcard round.

Having said that, I believe that this will be a turning point game. I do believe we'll pound the rock, and will have 100+ rushing. We will also have a good overall game in all 3 phases (Special teams, Offense and Defense). The Cowboys will likely play well in the 1st qtr; fall behind in the 2nd. Saints dominate 3rd qtr, and Cowboys get garbage yardage and points in the 4th qtr after the game is out of reach.

JMHO (Just My Humble Opinion).

Did the fans respect Rob Ryan. What did they think about losing him? Welcome aboard by the way. I really appreciate visiting fans who offer to answer questions.

Cowboys have had a solid Run D this year. They got gashed by AP (he is the reigning MVP) but they've shut down Jamaal Charles, Lesean McCoy, Ryan Matthews, Reggie Bush etc. I think it won't matter if you have a run game or not, the Cowboys pass D has been suspect.

I expect Carr to man up on Graham, and while Carr has been very good, (he's shutdown Demarius Thomas, Desean Jackson, Pierre Garcon), Graham presents a whole new challenge.

I believe which ever O that starts out hot will win. If the Cowboys can get some big plays early and take the crowd out it will be huge. If not, then it will be a long day.
