Augusta...Holy Ground (1 Viewer)

My son just texted me to say the private jets are piling in today.

Watching some highlights from the 60's and 70's. Amazing how different that course looked in the 60's: red and white flags, no pinestraw, tall grass around the ponds and bunkers, and the spectators were so close to the players. In the 70's, you could really tell the maintenance technology had vastly improved. The chute coming out of the 18th tee box looked very wide in those old clips and the hole was playing at 420 yards in '66.

My brother went to the first day practice round. Couldnt get near Tiger of course. I am not really into golf but he sounded excited so thats cool. If he can listen to me go on and on about the saints I guess i can return the favor.

That article is especially tough for me now, since we lost my dad to cancer yesterday, during Masters weekend. I did make it through the article, finally, and although it was hard to do it did bring some comfort in some ways. I'll have to save that link.
