I'm wading thru the 5 part Hager/Roth feud. Good stuff. Never really been a fan of Roth. He's a circus to be sure but his ego just makes me ill. I like Sammy and his book is pretty good.

The Van Halen brothers.....eh not too sure. Eddie has made an *** out of himself on numerous occasions. Drunken idiot at Dimebag's memorial service in Dallas for one.

Met and had a few drinks with Michael Anthony in the Atlanta airport probably 83-84. I was on my way back to FL to go back out on tour with David Allan Coe (sound man) and he was going somewhere. We were the only two kinda unkempt guys in an airport bar full of suits so we grabbed a table and chatted for a bit. Really nice guy. Saw him and Sammy on a rerun of That Metal Show or something not long ago and he was talking about Wolfie taking his place in VH. Pretty funny.

What did Eddie do? I never heard anything about this before.

Ahhh, he was just being a drunken ***. But a lot of people at the memorial service were buzzed. To his credit he did place a guitar in the casket to be buried with Dime.

Eddie drunk at Dimebag's funeral

We used to hang out some at this little dive bar on Collins St in Arlington that Darrell and Vinnie frequented. I didn't even know who they were the first couple times I saw them. Good folks, never acted like rock stars.

there always seems to be some :mecry: about Pantera and Exhorder

probably not with the bands themselves but the fans seem to think Pantera ripped off Exhorder

Veruca Salt broke up in 1998 when Nina Gordon and Louise Post got in their huge fight, supposedly right after Post and Dave Grohl broke up. Though, back in March they've made up and have actually reformed with the full original lineup and are currently working on a new album. No fun videos to post about it, so here's a bonus music video instead:

And on the same subject with a link to Veruca Salt. Another great feud has always been between Dave Grohl and Courtney Love over Kurt Cobain after he died.

I worked with the guy who is buddies with the guy who punched Danzig. No lie. He is from New Jersey.

buy that man a beer for me if you see him again. if i never have to hear Mother again, ill be a happy man. that song plays like a dozen times a night in The Dungeon, and after years of hanging out there i never want to hear it again.

I am Very good friends with Vinny LaBella....I was sitting with him in his office back in the early 90's when he used to own the Art&Sole Tattoo shop....when Phil Anselmo called and asked Vinny, In all seriousness, If he had a hit out on him. LMAO we laughed for weeks. :jpshakehead:

The feud between Pantera and Exhorder was MOSTLY a fan made up rivalry.....but Phil is pretty much a ****** bag.....and I like Pantera as a band.

as i understand it, there is no bad blood between the bands...just some Exhorder fans got  that Pantera made it big....

i used to be friends with Jay Ceravolo's little brother when i was a kid....i remember Jay was the first 'metal' guy i ever met...i was probably 10 or 11....he scared the crap out of me :hihi:
