N/S Bears FA G Teven Jenkins visits Seattle [Browns sign Teven Jenkins]

This is for the best that he signed with Cleveland. I keep reading articles about how inconsistent his play is and he's been injured a few times. There are still some decent Guards out there and there's still the draft and some veterans that will be released after the draft.

Increases the chances of a coupla things.....that any free agent signing on the o-line at this point is going to be someone coming off injury....and that we go skill position at 9 and address trench and edge in later rounds.
…which is not a bad strategy in my view. We seem to be about out of free agent options for interior line. #9 seems like a good place to get a difference maker, either an offensive weapon or an edge rusher, or even an outside CB.

My thinking is this: build the defense and offense and go big for a QB in the 2026 draft with better receivers and OL already in place. And I mean even trade up for the QB, if there’s a great draft prospect. That assumes that the offense and defense are already solid from 2025.

I’d prefer Will Hernandez at RG. Sure he’s recovering from a knee injury but he’s a dang beast!!!!
I agree. Him Risner or Eichenberg, all would be the way to go. Under 30 and can be had for a good $

There are still guards out there that can help us for a year or two.
Scherff is an interesting one. Definitely coming up to the backend of his career but a good stop gap, as someone mentioned earlier.
