My son wants to attend his first game for his 18th birthday on October 1. I know there were issues last season with parking lots and vehicles getting broken into. What are the safest options? Looking at buying a parking pass for Champions Garage off of Vividseats.com. Is that a good one and easy enough to get in and out of for someone coming from central Louisiana (passing through Baton Rouge)? Haven't been to a game in a long time, so figured I'd turn to the experts. Thanks.

I park in the lot next to Tulane hospital garage. It’s $30 and there’s security there watching the lot during the game. A quick right turn out the lot and on I-10. I’ve parked everywhere and this is the BEST option!!! Anywhere in a garage or in the dome itself and you’ll be miserably stuck there an hour trying to get out. Btw it’s literally a 4 minute walk to the dome.

I have a parking pass in garage 5. That’s by far the easiest parking I’ve had since going to the games IMO. Champions garage will have you sitting in one spot forever.

Best advise, get there two hours earlier than you planned. I usually try to be parked by 9:00 and then grab breakfast at a Daisy Dukes. And park in a garage. Dome garages are great, but it takes patience getting out. Decide how far you are comfortable walking and pick a garage based n that.

No there’s a machine that takes a card. Also there’s usually an attendant that takes cash as well if there happens to be a line at the machine. I usually arrive at 10a for a noon game and there may only be a handful of cars in that lot. To me, it’s a hidden gem.

Do you have the address to this lot? Im going to the game this weekend and Im tired of fighting the traffic getting out of the garages by the dome. Took 2 hours to get to I-10 last year after the Bucs game.

thank you!

I don't know the best place to park, but I can say where not to park. Don't park in an outside lot that does not have a guard. I saw multiple lots get hit last year, multiple games and dozens of vehicles broken into. It was not a one time thing. I used to park in an open lot without a guard, never again. Still working out my parking options for this year.

Thanks. I just Googled it. That looks to be the Villere Lot?
Yes that is the Villere Lot. Like I said, I arrive between 9:30-10:00 for a noon kickoff and only about half full. $30 automated and the guy who is like lot security also can hand you a dashboard ticket and you can pay him cash as another option. Very easy jump to I-10 and zero traffic leaving the dome. It’s right at a 5 minute walk to the dome if that. I go with my 11 and 9 yr old boys. Been parking in this lot since 2006 with never an issue. Would not take them here if i did not feel it was safe. Hope this helps.
