So I'm making my way down to New Orleans in December and I'm super pumped, first time in the city and in the dome. Just watched my first Saints game in Seattle this year, so hoping to keep the momentum rolling.

Was looking at section 102 in particular so if anyone had any thoughts on that, either way it would be appreciated. If not what section would you recommend?

Who Dat!

What about level 2? We got gouged for level 2 seats in section 249 against the Falcons (even though SeatGeek told me they were the best value available on the site) but we appear to be in one of the front few rows.

Over the years I’ve had season tickets for 10 yrs+ in every level except the loge (but have attended many, many games in that level also) and I think the Lower Terrace (500 sections) has the best combination of views and boisterous fan experience. In the end, it’s a personal preference though- some folks like to feel closer to the action on the field.

I personally hated the 100's. I couldn't see hardly anything. But I'm short and the closest I've ever been was like, row 29 or so.

I think the best sections I've ever sat in was honestly 611-617. The upper seats are really steep and you see almost everything except 1 corner of each end zone.

My favorite seats have been 300’s in the end zone and 500’s around midfield. The end zone gives that normal Madden view where you really see plays develop and I often can predict the play pre-snap. The issue is when all of the action seems to be on the other end.

The mid field seats is more like the tv view. In fact there is a camera close to us. The issue here is if you watch the backfield, it’s hard to tell what is going on downfield. A bit of a tennis match effect.

I’ve sat in 100’s a couple of times around mid field. It’s either hard to see over the players so you have to stand....or it’s hard for the people in front of you to see over them so everyone in front of you is standing. I really think the 500’s or lower 600’s are the best value.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to comment. I really wasn't think of the 500's before majority of you mentioned it.

Tbh I had figured the lower level would bring me closer to the action but was worried about site lines of being this close. I'm there to have s good time and cheer on the Saints with my fellow WhoDats so most likely 500s it is.

Everyone thinks being as close as possible is where it's at, but it's not. It's also way more expensive. The fans aren't as hardcore, either.

Being able to see everything unfold right in front of you (at the higher levels mentioned repeatedly thus far) is like having your own life-sized HD TV, with really loud speakers. Very good value, especially for your first game in New Orleans.
