Best Seats In Superdome (1 Viewer)

Over the years I’ve had season tickets for 10 yrs+ in every level except the loge (but have attended many, many games in that level also) and I think the Lower Terrace (500 sections) has the best combination of views and boisterous fan experience. In the end, it’s a personal preference though- some folks like to feel closer to the action on the field.

Yep. The 500 level is the best section. I sit in 600 but wish it would be 500. I wouldn't trade my 600 tickets for lower bowls though.

The best viewing seats in the house couldn’t replace the folks around me now. I told the wife that we’d get a suite if we ever hit the Powerball but it would just be for before and after the game.

Now that I’m retired and years away from scraping nickels together, I’ll have these seats until I die. And, even when that happens, I’m hoping for terrace seats — I hear the plaza level feels like old Tulane Stadium in mid-August... :hihi:

I’ve been to games with my brother-in-law and he sits in the very first row of 102 up against the wall. The seats are great when they are coming towards you, but being so low I had trouble when the game was going to the opposite endzone. One thing you really do get a feel for where he sits is just how fast the game and players are. That is cool to see. TV and even my seats sometimes don’t do it justice.

I sit in 602 in the terrace endzone in row 2 so I don’t have to go up any steps, right out the tunnel and my seats are there and I actually enjoy my seats more as I get a great view of the game coming towards and away from me. You really can see all the plays opening up and watching someone break free before a big play is really cool.

I also get to see at least 10 people trip every single game as they go up the first step because they miscalculate just how big the terrace steps are. It’s still pretty funny, won’t lie.

Still, a lot also goes into personal preference.

640, first ten rows. IMO at least.
Yep. I like the 500’s, but if you can get low 600 then value is better. But once you get in double digit rows then it gets hard for me to read the jersey numbers, tell the difference between players, and have no idea where punts, kicks, and deep passes are going.

My favorite seats are between low 600s and the 300s. There is a pretty big difference in price, but there really isn’t a bad seat in the house. I prefer these because I’m there to watch the game and I can see everything. Fans are rowdier in the 600s.

My dream seats are 50 yard line club level row 1 or more realistically money wise 50 yard line terrace row 1 .

Our seats arw in 321, a section right next to the club level. We love our seats and it’s half the price compared to the club.

Sat in club, around the 50 yard line, a few times and prefer our seats. Sure it’s a good view, but it’s a pretty boring because the people around you aren’t that into the game.

I wholeheartedly endorse the 500s.

This is consistent with every single experience I've had in the 300 level, maybe 10-15 times, BUT all of my experiences there were pre-2006.

Da ones yer sittin' in

Actually I always wanted to be in the first row of either the 200s or 500s preferably at midfield.

My favorites (unless you're letting me sit in suites or in the club) would be the upper 100s. When I was a kid, my grandparents took me a game where we were at the lower 100s on a sideline and we had a hard time seeing over the players.

The upper seats are indeed steep and I was just in 631 (first time I've been terrace level in many years) for the Bucs game. The main caveat there is if you have bad knees (I have arthritis in my right knee), those stairs can be a (literal) pain going up and down.

I personally hated the 100's. I couldn't see hardly anything. But I'm short and the closest I've ever been was like, row 29 or so.

I think the best sections I've ever sat in was honestly 611-617. The upper seats are really steep and you see almost everything except 1 corner of each end zone.

I'll go with the 500s also. However, keep in mind that those terrace box seats still extend up to about the first five rows in the 600s. That's where my tix are (sect 625) and they are still great seats and, at least in my section, have great fans. So, its a fun atmosphere.
