Best Seinfeld Episode (2 Viewers)

Most of my favorites have been mentioned. There are 3-5 perfect episodes that I couldn't choose between and some that get very close. I don't think anyone mentioned the "PC" episode with the cigar store Indian. When Kramer drives by with that indian in the taxi I still pee myself laughing. And the way Jerry can't say anything without offending someone (the Postman with the chinese restaurant question is particularly hilarious).

Edit: Is that the same one with the TV guides? If so, many mentioned that one but I don't think anyone mentioned that part of it.

Maybe the dingo ate your baby.

Another when Kramer decides to shave with butter then puts it all over his body to tan on the roof, Newman can smell him....

I am an enormous Seinfeld fan. There are too many great ones to only have one favorite. I believe that my favorite ones were the ones with great monologues. The "Marine Biologist" may have the greatest monologue in TV comedy history. Another what Kramers and Newman's "Magic loogie" monologue. Classic.

I think that the most IMPORTANT episode was the final episode of season one. The show was just getting started and they were still developing the characters and roles of the main characters. It was the only episode in which Jerry and Elaine get back together in a relationship and they determine that they just can't be friends. It will either be all or nothing. (VERY IMPORTANT COMMENTARY ON PLUTONIC RELATIONSHIPS)

The reason why Seinfeld aired this episode is because the network directors felt that Jerry and Elaine getting together was what America wanted to see and they wanted to give the show a chance to make it past its first season...and pressured Larry David into going that direction. The problem is that shows with relationships are NOT SUSTAINABLE. If Jerry and Elaine would have continued to be in a relationship going into the second season...the show would have likely failed. Larry David had balls and decided to completely disregard the final episode of season one and they went on with the show as if that episode never happened.

The library cop and the one where Jerry shaves his chest.

LOOK AT IT!! LOOK AT IT!!!

Thing is about Seinfeld... There's so much going on in just that 1/2 hour episode which they all usually tie into one and other in some kind of way... That's what make the show so good...

Like the Hamptons episode...

The four principal characters travel to the Hamptons to see a baby; they find that the baby is altogether ugly. While on the beach, Kramer finds a filled lobster trap and thinks the catch is his, unaware that it's a commercial lobster trap. George's girlfriend (Melora Walters) goes sun tanning topless while he goes out to get tomatoes, and George is seen naked by Jerry's girlfriend Rachel (Melanie Smith), to whom he tries in vain to explain that, having just gotten out of the cold water, he is a victim of penile "shrinkage" by yelling "I was in the pool!"

Elaine is thrilled to be described as "breathtaking" by a doctor (guest star Richard Burgi) until she finds he uses the same adjective to describe the baby. Rachel tells George's girlfriend about his "shrinkage" and she leaves. At breakfast, George gets revenge on Rachel by tricking her into eating lobster-filled scrambled eggs, which is not kosher. When he goes to apologize, he sees her naked. Kramer then gets arrested for lobster poaching and must pick up garbage on the side of the road. The working title for this episode was "The Ugly Baby."[citation needed]
