NFL Draft Best WR prospect in the upcoming draft? (1 Viewer)

I have never been more wrong about a WR prospect that I was about DK Metcaf. Sometimes being bigger, faster, and stronger than everyone in college actually does translate. I wouldn't hate a Burks pick.
I was right there with you. Thought he was Dorial Green-Beckham‘s sequel.

This is why the wins down the stretch ended up being a long term detriment to the organization.
It's not a detriment because there is no alternate scenario.

That's like saying the sun rising was a long term detriment because of the skin cancer possibility. What, like the sun wasn't going to rise? Mr. Burns and losing on purpose isn't real.

That dude also couldn't catch and had other issues. Isn't he in jail now?

3nd round: Skyy Moore, Slot receiver Western Michigan. He would be perfect in our system.

To address the OP, I think the days of trading up in the 1st round for a WR are over....signed Jeff Ireland....

If the right WR is there at 18 then let's get him otherwise history has shown you can get really good ones later as well....

Well...I was going to say I wouldn't be surprised if Williams skipped this draft to take a gap year to fully recover, then declare for the '23 draft, but apparently he's going forward with it. I think it'll cost him more long term declaring for the '22 draft.

I would've lived off my Bose NIL money and declared next year.

His agent must think he still has a 1st round grade. Remember he transferred from Ohio State and a place like Bama has guys waiting for you to leave or get hurt. There's no guarantee he would have a high draft rating again.

ACL injuries aren't as scary as they used to be, especially if the player is under 25. His doctors believe he will make a full recovery while retaining his speed. The only setback is his availability at the start of the season. But keep in mind that drafted players are taken with the future in mind, not strictly present-day results.

I personally think this is the perfect setup for us. Prior to his injury, i doubt he would've have made it to 18. But now we have a chance to land a perfect compliment to CGM and we'd be smart to take him if he's there.

Felt like this would be a fun thread to revisit now that we are keeping our picks this year.

With no Payton - Loomis, Ireland, and Allen moves have been more predictable so I am confident the pick will be a WR (hopefully lol).

The Ohio State boys absolutely blew the combine away! My vote is still for Olave, but either one would be incredible.

Burks didn't run the 4.3 some of us thought he would ans had a pretty meh combine overall. Still, he plays fast and powerful on the field. Maybe he falls now?

Idk I still think Burks will be a stud in the league. We shall see. I just hope we get at least one bonafide wr prospect on day one.

Whomevever it is we need 2 of em
This would be the perfect year to pull a Double Up Johnson and bring in two WRs. At least two. Enough is enough man. Good god, we had 37 year old Kenny Stills and Little Jordan Humphrey out there running routes last year.

No more being cute and relying on UDFA WRs. It's kind of an important position in the modern game. It's not as difficult as they've made it. Bring in weapons and get them the ball in space. I want to see this modern basketball on grass deal like the rest of the league instead of watching an offense try to play football on a basketball court.

Tre Turner is someone to look at in the later rounds. He reminds me very much of David Bell
