As a kid, I used to watch the Golden Girls with my grandmother, so I occasionally put an episode on TV and it takes me back to sitting in her living room and hearing her laugh. Good memories.

CNN is doing the same, pointing out that she's the rare example of someone who was beloved by everyone.

At least after another horrible and divisive year, Betty White is bringing us all together in the eleventh hour, even if it's to mourn her passing.

Nothing's been confirmed other than there was no underlying health issue or sudden illness. It sounds like she just went.
