Biggest problem with the Week 1 win vs Panthers? (1 Viewer)

The Browns were an 11 win playoff team with a backup QB last year. They aren't the 10 years ago Browns. We played the worst team in the league from last year.

And that backup QB was better than their starter, who has been God awful since his incidents.

Dude, the Browns looked and played like a 3 win team yesterday. Dallas didn't make them look that bad; THEY ARE THAT BAD.
So, despite them having a good season last year. You are going to judge their entire upcoming season on and single game, week 1, give no credit to the Cowboys and say they're not good because of some made up criteria in your head? Teams have bad weeks and some of them come in week 1. Watson hadn't played in a game since early November and the line didn't play well against one of the best defensive lines in the league. Those things happen.

The Browns won 8 out of the 12 games he started during the 2022 (3-3) and 2023 (5-1) seasons. The fact is that he hasn't played a lot of football over the last 3 years and played no preseason games this year. He's rusty. That doesn't mean that the entire team is doomed to be a 3 win team anymore than our blowout of the Panthers makes us a Super Bowl contender.
