I remember in earlier mocks that this guy was a can't miss prospect. Hopefully he can get it together.

A part of me wonders if Boutte was drafted to be a whipping boy
Huge LSU fan here. Boutte had an opportunity to become of one the best to come out of WRU. He didn't. He developed a bad attitude and his production fell off. That won't work in the NFL. He either gets his act together or it will be talent wasted.

Sounds like Mr. O'Brien, who nobody respects, is taking out LSU's thrilling 32-31 win against Bama last season on Kayshon. KB went 7-51 in that game.

No doubt Kayshon has alot of growing up to do, but Coach BOB is his usual schmuck self for invoking LSU, even if it's meant to motivate KB.

OK, someone please help me with this:

The tweet says that KB was once ranked 2nd in his recruiting class. What recruiting class? Coming out of HS? That's a pretty meaningless point to make, if so.

Am I missing something that the tweet's author is trying to get across?

They mentioned on draft day how Bresee was the #1 recruit in his recruiting class so I would take it that it’s something the scouts use to determine their rankings

Thanks.

I used to see comments of that ilk in Mike D's draft reports, but that didn't make much sense to me, either. Maybe it just has more impact than I realize.

Cue the LSU fans saying the quote was inaccurate because “LSU is the 33rd NFL team!”
LSU fans already know after last year and his abrupt departure when he was supposed to be coming back for his senior year that he had attitude problems. Has talent but has to get physically right and more important get his mind right otherwise it’s over for him.

Boutte has a ton of talent, but he also has a work ethic problem. Orgeron enabled him. That isn't going to cut it in the NFL. If he can't figure out soon that talent will only get you so far, he won't last very long.
