N/S Black Friday game: Chiefs vs Raiders (3 Viewers)

Didn't even watch the game and now I'm po'd. The Chiefs are the Anti-Saints. They find incredibly ridiculous ways to win. The officiating and ball bounces all go their way. It's amazing for in every high leverage situation, the callsseem to favor them.
honestly, they are the 2009 Saints. everything bounces their way as it did for us in 09.
we should have lost a few more games that year easily.

one of our vendors sends out a game to it's customers every year. it's called Pick 6.
you pick the winner of any 6 NFL games each week. each game has points. for instance the Saints/Rams game is Rams +6 and Saints+10. if you pick the Saints you get 10, or Rams you get 6. each game is weighed (i don't know how that is determined other than the higher the underdog the higher the points). the winner with the most points each week gets a prize, the winner of the season gets a free family trip to (you pick from) a list of places.
some years I've finished in the top 10, once in the top 5 out of almost 1000 people (usually the bottom half are the ones who miss weeks or quit playing. but if i get too far behind, i start picking updates to try to win the weekly prize (a few years ago i won a Blackstone grill). this is one of those years I'm too far behind to catch up to the leader.

long story short, i picked the Raiders to win this game, the points were +36. that would have given me a shot to win the weekly prize.. F the Raiders..

Folks, we are all the same. I just spent the game with my BiL and his 20 friends here at his house, and the way they were describing this dominant Chiefs team had me reminiscing about our dominant Saints teams (though this Chiefs team is far more dominant).

During the game I kept hearing complaints about Mahomes like we used to complain about some of Brees’ throws. Sure these guys (Mahomes and Drew) are brilliant tacticians, and 2nd to none at their craft (in their prime), but people kept nitpicking at some of his throws. The pass in the end zone to Hopkins for example. It could have been a better pass, and it was so similar to something I would have seen Drew throw 10 years ago.

At the end of the game the Chiefs fans were convinced it was over, and couldn’t believe the bone head coaching that got the Raiders in position to win. I remember that feeling as a Saints fan with Sean.

I won’t fault the refs, or say that the Chiefs got away with another win. I had no idea how penalized they were. I also found it comical how how much they hate their tackle Juwan Johnson as much as we have hated our Oline (they really hate that guy if they think Fluker is the answer).

I love you all and I miss Heat.

I still believe that despite the great breaks we got, the ‘09 Saints were better than this Chiefs team. The Chiefs are eeking out wins against teams they should be rolling over. The Saints were dominant in most of the wins in our championship season.

I agree that the 09 Saints were better than this Chiefs team. I believe most Chiefs fans would agree that this is their weakest team of their recent Super Bowl winning teams.

In KC with Chief loving family. This morning I went to a popular donut place here in the area and the place was packed with folks decked out in Chiefs gear or red clothing. I asked the person least likely to punch me, “hey, where is a good place to watch the Raiders game today?” You could have heard a pin drop. I told them that I was only kidding, and that I was a Saints fan. As I left I said “long live Willie Roaf!”
I grew up in Missouri and I’ll say at least 96% of Chiefs fans are intellectually challenged.

Thanksgiving up there in Kansas City and around the Kansas/Iowa border is brutal this time of year. That arctic jet stream, however subtle it seems, is horrible. Makes 35 degrees feel like -35. You go out and play golf in a 25 mph wind and everyone from there is like, what wind?

The Chiefs seem disinterested in the regular season yet they are 11-1. I guess when you win 2 championship in a row there only goal is to 3 peat.

Man, how close this would have been if Andy didn't jump ahead of Sean. They would be talking about us as dynasty.

What ever they called it was a clear penalty on the Raiders. Nothing the Chiefs did was against the rules. This is coming from a Chiefis hat for the last 50 years!
Meh duh. No one has argued it wasn't against the Raiders. Should have been a pre-snap penalty which is exactly what the official on the top of the screen was signaling after the flag was thrown. False start. Refs were even coming in and blowing the play dead before a recovery was made.

Linked the replay since you disagree.

I know good teams find a way to win but more than good KC has been lucky. They eventually won't be lucky so it's a good thing they are starting to get some players back.

I don't believe they'll 3 peat. I see them losing in the playoffs. Just a gut feeling, I have no love or hate for
the Chiefs.
