BOLD Predictions week 18 edition: Falcons @ Saints (1 Viewer)

The New Orleans Saints jump out to a 28-3 second quarter lead over the Atlanta Falcons.

Arthur Blank comes down to the Falcons sideline to give Head Coach Arthur Smith a vote of confidence with a contract extension just before Halftime.

Blank loans Smith his Tear-Soaked Hanky as an offer of condolences to help wipe Smiths Weeping eyes as they leave the field embracing each other. :bigcry:

The Saints win the game by a score of 58 to 3. It becomes the most points the Saints have ever scored against the Clowns and the 55-point difference in score ties the largest margin of victory between the rivalries while nodding the all-time regular season series record up at 55-55.

(A nod to Sammy Hagar who once sang "I-----Can't-----Drive-----55!!!!!)
The hanky is mistaken for a challenge flag and they lose a timeout.

Saints squeak by the Falcons and get the win. Tampa is up by 30 at halftime, wins by multiple scores; the other games just don’t break our way. Loomis says the team displays lots of fight and gives everyone a much deserved contract extension. Saints punt on the 2024 season, deciding to go bowfishing instead. The team seems unprepared for the trip, however, spending the first half of it trying to figure out how to get the boat off the dock. Carr screams at his teammates the whole time, and it ends up not being as nice as they’d thought, but still beats going 3-14 while getting eviscerated by Mahomes, Hurts, Herbert and company.

Williams fills in for AK and scores 3 TD's. And I don't even watch TV.

Heinicke looks like the second coming of Dan Marino. Saints win on a last minute field goal, Bucs handle business against the Panthers. We run it back with the same staff because "We are close".

The Falcons played a lot of man coverage against us last time, in fact it was nearly double their average rate against other teams. No respect for our receivers.

Olave was on pace for a career game against that coverage before he left with injury, so I predict he gets one this time in receptions, yards, and TD’s.

Derek Carr, having a sense of not only what this game but what this rivalry means to this fanbase, has his best game of the season and steadily guides the team to victory. He’s supplemented in effort by local product Tyrann Mathieu, who makes a game-changing play on defense, and Pro Bowler Rashid Shaheed, who flips the field on a fantastic return to salvage what would have been bad field position.

30-17 Saints
I shoulda gave us more points
