Lol. Why wouldn't he? Why wouldn't any player? These are historical records that he's been breaking ALL season from the passing yardage to the completions and the touchdowns last year. I mean the dude has got 700+ total touchdowns.
These are legacy building records for the quarterback with the most championships as well.

• Single Season Completion percentage
• Most consecutive games with a TD
• Most 5,000 yard passing seasons

For records like this and most yards in a season etc., they should just change it to a per game stat.

So, however many completions Brees had, divide by 16 and however many Brady gets, divide by 17 and the most is the record holder. It makes no sense to keep adding games to the season and not do something to fix how records work.
