Just saw a segment on FOX pre-game with both Cooks and Woods. He is all smiles, all buddy buddy. Happy to be in LA and SHARING? Give me a freaking break! Guy is fake. Only reason he is happy, is because 1) they are winning and 2) he is getting top dollar. He saw that he was no longer going to be the man with the Saints and the emerging Thomas having to be paid. So he pouted and found himself traded to another team, that was not going to pay him top dollar.

I hate fake.

Bruh, I was formulating a similar post. I wanted to ask, wasn't he traded because he was griping about not getting touches in a blowout win? Didn't he WANT to be THE MAN? Am I missing something.

Just got into an altercation last night because someone decided to spread their extra fake on real thick last night and ultimately got checked by me.

I hate fake people. B. Cooks can kick rocks too.

He only cared about being "the guy" until he got paid.

I really wanted to like this guy coming out of college. He had a great story from his troubles as a kid and seemed to be like a blue collar, work hard, grind hard kind of player. Ever since he's been in the league, though, its been ME ME ME. New England couldn't stand more than one season with him. Now he's in the ME ME ME capital of the world.

lots of uncessary hate. He isn't stupid. He saw Thomas emerging and knew he wouldn't get the contract he wanted here, and the saints knew it too; so they decided to get something in return while they could.

Guy wanted to maximize his earning potential and did waht he had to do. This is a business and their years to earn are limited.

Maybe he's changed since then? People can mature and learn over time.

I hate that he plays for the Rams. Have wished Cooks well since the trade to NE.

He's only saying that because he got paid

Brandon Cooks is one of my most hated former saints players. The guys just a jerk and it’s clear from his behaviour whenever he plays us that he hates New Orleans.

I imagine getting jettison by two teams would help the maturation process. Also, it made more sense for the Rams to pay him than it ever did the Saints or Pats given the style of their offense and QB.

He’s a very good player with top speed. We could have used him Thursday night to get some deep separations, but that’s days gone by.

Brandon wanted more touches here to help him draw a big second contract. We invested a first round pick and got three years of solid service, which then allowed us to recoup a first round pick and draft a starting RT. Brandon left and accomplished his objective too. I say it was a win - win. No reason to be bitter when you realize both sides won in a business decision.
