Brandin Cooks; happy to be SHARING the load with Robert Woods! PLEASE! (1 Viewer)

Is it me or he always seem to get super lucky to be in a good situation after every trade?

Went to the Patriots = Super Bowl (glad they lost)
Now Rams = At least making the playoffs (glad we ended their undefeated streak)

He’s a very good player with top speed. We could have used him Thursday night to get some deep separations, but that’s days gone by.

Brandon wanted more touches here to help him draw a big second contract. We invested a first round pick and got three years of solid service, which then allowed us to recoup a first round pick and draft a starting RT. Brandon left and accomplished his objective too. I say it was a win - win. No reason to be bitter when you realize both sides won in a business decision.

No bitterness, just being fake, He loves sharing with Woods, only because he got the money and Woods is the #2 guy. Cooks could never be the #1 here, because of three things; 1) he did not like going over the middle and still doesn't... 2) he knew Thomas was the go to guy for Brees, and could not come to grips with that, which is fine, but he also pouted and acted like a juvenile one game when he was not included in the fun of the victory...3) as long as he feels he is the #1, such as he is with the Rams, he will say anything, that makes him look like he has changed/matured.

I have zero problem in a player wanting to be THE man, but to act out the way he did, and to come across the way he did in the segment, is what I find odd.

I don't believe Cooks is stupid enough to make the same mistake twice. That mistake being to complain about workload/targets when he should know that the gameplan is not made by one player's workload on a good team. That's where this comes from.

I believe him. Like Akeem Hicks before, he has grown, and matured. He hasn’t changed, and as humans we should all be happy when someone matured.

Also, he is on a winning team. While he was here we were struggling, and while he was a big part of our mediocrity, he wasn’t winning here, and that can cause players to lash out.

I’m glad he is happy, and you should be too.
