Just was told the Saints have made calls about Cooks. I’m sure they’ve made calls on a couple of WR’s but Cooks is intriguing as a complement to a heathy Mike Thomas. As always, take it for what it’s worth. Strictly a rumor.

I think at this point Brandin just wants to experience winning again. He seemed just slightly agitated that the Texans would trade Roby to the Saints but refused to trade him.

I guess Cooks has played for all of the other 31 teams and its our turn again. I dont see him as the WR2 we need, but Id take him back for the right deal. We just need weapons of any kind.

Look up Cooks stats, he is still producing, he's the perfect #2.

If true, it would be consistent with the approach this team always tries to take to address as many needs as possible before the draft.

FWIW, rlemieux shared information in the Watson thread that he was headed to the Browns and they were working out a contract. Seemed outrageous at the time.

I don't know why people giving Cooks a hard time after one tweet. He is a solid receiver and did well for us. Looking back at a lot of the highlights from Cooks here with the Saints, he and Brees had some of the prettiest long TD throws I have ever seen.

He's the perfect kind of WR for Jameis if we he comes back too.

The question I have is how much is Cook's contract! My interest is wholly occasioned on not overspending for a player that is not ascending!
