Really have no idea what some of y'all are seeing in Walker. His tape is actually awful.

Hes too tall, horrible pad level, isn't good against the run or pass. Hard pass on him.

A scouting source that I trust agrees w/ you about Walker. Doesn’t move as well as people think and plays too tall to be a NT

However, I’ve also read where some see him more as an end in a 3-4 in the Muhammad Wilkerson mold and that may be legit his best comparison.

There are plenty DE/DTs in the league at 6'7" and taller. I want him to slim down a little and attack, not play NT.

Calais Campbell is 6'8", bombed the combine and didn't even have a great final college season. He's made a decent career for being an out of shape weak big/tall man.

There's maybe 3 or 4 in the entire league. None of which 340+ lbs.

If you actually watch Walker play his tape this past year was just downright awful. He was consistently dominated off the LOS in a way no 340lb player should be.

You could place him at edge but that would require him to drop a significant amount of weight and he just doesn't have any actual pass rush moves nor the motor to play it well IMO.

Guys like Calais always had a motor. Walkers motor is very sub par. He often givens half effort on plays. Just too many red flags.

I agree completely. Walker is not a nose IMO. He's interesting as a 3-4 DE on day three. He doesn't play to his size but if the light ever kicks on, there's something there.
