N/S Browns Being Investigated for Tanking (1 Viewer)

Only way to prove that is to get someone to crack and testify to it like what just occurred in Mia. You definitely can't prove it from their gametape, it's been decades of poor play and bloopers there

Emails and communications is where they'll find some clues.

The Browns have been so horrible for so long and are so inept they still haven't won anything significant even though it seemed like they had 5 first round picks for 5 years in a row.

They have the best cover for throwing seasons away but the factory of sorrow never disappoints. They probably did but what are you going to do take one of their 18 picks that they have every year from them or fine them because money is not a issue the way they throw it around like powdered sugar at Cafe Du Monde (man that area looked like a 70's Hollywood party when we went back to vacation there several years ago but the family LOVED it) but yeah tanking seasons is so disgusting to the fans and the sport.

Is this the same trained dog the NFL trots out to find exactly what the NFL wants her to find?

SMDH, you would think they would TRY to make it seem like they are trying to find someone impartial. NOPE! It's the same person that always takes our side because we aren't even trying to pretend like we care.
Yep. One and the same

It’s odd. Sort of like the whole player pool for good hits I thought it was common knowledge that a team might not be as motivated to win games if they could get the first overall pick. I mean suddenly guys aren’t playing that sort of thing happens every year. Years ago the Steelers seemingly yanked the last game because they liked the matchup as the 6th seed vs the 5th.

The Browns must have been taking all this time for some kid who started kindergarten in the early 2000s

Browns Being Investigated for Alleged Tanking

"Mary Jo White, who is also investigating Brian Flores’s claim that he was offered money to lose games in Miami, is leading the investigation.

The NFL has opened an investigation into allegations that the Cleveland Browns provided incentives to then–head coach Hue Jackson to lose games during the 2016 and ’17 seasons.

In an emailed statement, the league confirmed that former Securities and Exchange Commission chair Mary Jo White, of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, is leading an independent probe into allegations made by Jackson in February. “The review is ongoing and is expected to conclude soon,” wrote an NFL spokesperson.

White has also been hired by the league to investigate the Miami Dolphins in light of Brian Flores’s claim that he was offered $100,000 per loss by owner Stephen Ross during the 2019 season."

While she’s at it, she can investigate the NFL as a whole and how they rig games with their Barnum and Bailey refs they throw out their in zebra outfits.

Is anyone surprised that the person the NFL ALWAYS hires to side with them as an "independent investigator" found nothing wrong?

As long as they take the word of former players who are trying to stick it to their former team, of course there's going to be plenty of 'evidence'...
