The team that loses a player, yes you replace him, but will he be the same caliber? With an extra player you can evaluate the better one.

Same thought did cross my mind when I first saw the news. Hopefully you’re dead-on right. I wonder if Jaylan Ford is close to game ready?

I don't think the players would like that because they want the opportunity to be on 53 man rosters instead of being stashed on a practice squad.

With the way the Browns do business, anything less than four firsts, Myles, and the Browns giving the Saints 50% of their cap space is a bad deal by Loomis.

That’s not going to fix their offensive issues.

That sucks. He's a perfect special teams player. Fast and physical. Just limited to a WLB role on defense, unfortunately. Probably why we didn't carry him on the 53.

Isaiah Stalbird projects as a similar type of player, once he develops, as is Nephi Sewell whenever he gets healthy. So it isn't the end of the world.

Wouldn't be surprised to see us bring Andrew Dowell back to the practice squad now, though.
