Saints Bryan Bresee! Monster game for an interior lineman (2 Viewers)

Baun helped with that. Missed out on a few sacks of his own but he gave the tackles fits giving Kp and Breese those one on one matchups inside.
Only took 4 years to figure out that Baun can rush the passer. And most of the year to realize that Jimmy Gramm is still a Red Zone monster.

I rather have LaPorta
Considering the fact it took this staff only 14 games to realize Jimmy Graham was still a redzone threat that deserves more playing time than he's gotten, I unfortunately have zero doubt they'd just have LaPorta standing on the sideline behind Juwan and Moreau anyway.

Agreed, just look how quickly those geniuses realized that Perry could actually play WR in the NFL....and pretty well.....

Jalen Carter might have something to say about that, regardless Bresee is a freak and glad we got him, he’s one of the better rookies in the league. Been causing havoc as a pass rusher all year
Hopefully he has a frame built for longevity

Maybe but all these SB teams have great TE and we don't. When it's 3rd and 3 we don't have a TE to extend drives. I agree with you but in Saints case. True TE would be great and not a converted WR that drops a lot
We have JG, if they remember he's on the team. When they do, he's clutch!

Yep, they pretty much shut down Saquon Barkley today. Our run defense was quite good today.
Yep!

It took em much than expected, but BB/Shep/Saunders trio FINALLY played like I thought they would waay back in da offseason!!!

Was it just a “one game wonder” OR have they, n da rest of da D line, bout to get “turnt up”?

We’ll find out Thursday night!

👍🏾

Absolutely terrible that it took the saints 4 years to figure out they should use Baun at the position he dominated in college
His moves on their RT were a thing of beauty. His shoulder dip killed them on several plays. We've been missing a speed rusher for several years, he brings that.

These are Bryan Bresee and Jalen Carter's Stats. I don't know if they have been updated to week 15 yet, but this is what they had on the both of them.

Bryan Bresee
Total Tackles-21
Solo- 11
Assists- 10
TFL's- 6
Sacks- 3.5 I updated that myself. they were still showing 1.5.
Passes Defensed- 6
QB Pressures- 17
According to PFF, Bresee was leading all IDL's in QB Pressures.

Jalen Carter
Total Tackles- 27
Solo- 16
Assists- 11
TFL's- 4.5
Sacks- 5 I updated that from the game tonight.
Pressures- 12

The both of them should be in the DROY conversation.

And so many people were very unhappy with the Bresse pick, the so called experts as well. I remember Detillier was one. Always thought HE was overrated
I agree. But he is a walking encyclopedia

Fair enough, Bresee does have 1 more game played than Carter but I can agree that both have played insanely well.
