The Steelers run a hybrid 3-4, that's why I mentioned the Ravens as an example of executing a similar scheme with standup rushers who have the flexibility to put their hands in the ground.

This is what Foskey played at Notre Dame. He was a Joker. We are mad the Saints draft players and do not put them in position to succeed.

Do y’all think Granderson can transition to OLB and still be as productive?

He’d still be playing wide 9 edge. Literally difference if at all any. He’d be fine, possibly even better because last year we stuck him at strong side because of Chase.

Can’t fall in love with any one player. Forget mix and matching using the present talent to have a better team for next year. Keep your eye on the prize, a TEAM that in 2-3 years can make a playoff run. Build that team by trading down and getting multiple assets to build strength all over the field. Trade down once in all of the first three rounds for the next two years and double the number of top 100 players each of those two years. Now we’re looking at 12 players with which to build a team not just 6.
Now the exception to this is if there comes an opportunity to draft what you think can become a franchise QB.
