I’m typically ok with a bye when the Saints aren’t doing great as it’s a time to kind of reflect as a fan and accept the fact that we aren’t in contention.

But this time, I’m legit intrigued by Rizzi and kind of excited to see what else he can pull from the team. So in that regard, I hate the wait.

Ahhhhhh. LSU, this has to be the most dissapointing season since the 90s before Saban took over. Yeah I get they will probably win 8 games. But alot of that came against cupcake teams. Only meaningful victory was a narrow escape against Ole Miss.

Other than that there has been 4 embarrassing losses. Yes the USC game is embarrassing because that team flat out stinks.

Florida isn't exactly a cupcake even though their season has been pretty disappointing. They beat Ole Miss today.

Yes LSU hasn't set the world on fire this season, but I wasn't really expecting to this season. Now next season, I think we'll see a better, more consistent team.

That is a product of the NussBuss going off the side of a cliff. I am usually all about players getting to the pros as quick as they can but he needs to stay another year and learn that playing QB is just as much about the throws you don’t make as it is about making throws. He still has a lot to learn.

A good HC might have won some of these close games but not WG. At least he got pissed and got a tech last game

If Underwood had not flipped he may have gone but he'll probably stay next yr and add to the mediocrity

None from his camp per se, but the word post loosing the commit from the kid in Detroit, was convincing him to stay another year was now their top priority.

Had his trajectory from the beginning of the year held course then that would have been a logical decision for him.

Give the kid a break. It takes time to develop and get experience. Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels each flourished in their 2nd season as LSU’s starter. I expect the same thing from Nuss.

Honestly I’ve enjoyed the bye week, been able to watch other games and see players I wouldn’t watch if the Saints were on. Plus there’s no chance for a near heart attack
