Physical magazines don’t sell like they used to, but I used to buy Athlon’s preseason football guide every year in late ‘80s and through the ‘90s. Each team would get about 2-3 pages of copy, photos and a roster. The photos all came from outdoor games, like our old annual road trips to S.F. and L.A.I don't know, I've seemed to notice the opposite. Not only photos/videos of our players, but anytime there's a photo or clip of a player from a team we played in the Dome recently (within the last few years), it always seems to be a picture or clip from our game with them. I used to think it was just the media sly dissing us, but sometimes it's even just mundane clips of players walking to the lockerroom at the Superdome (which they used to have to cross the field to get to from where the team buses would park), so that made me think that the producers of those bits of content just like the quality of the photos/videos due to the superb lighting.
I do agree that the Dome lights are among the brightest in the league, not only on TV but in person as well. When they kick those LEDs on after the dark pregame intros, it's almost blinding from the plaza level.
