Cam Jordan Didn't Want to Immediately Go to Saints Locker Room After Panthers Loss (1 Viewer)

This thread is enough
I know, crazy.

A lot of who dat on who dat crime these days. We all just need to borrow a page from Aaron Rodgers and R-E-L-A-X. We aren’t going anywhere but down the tubes. We all strapped in to the Rebuild RollerCoster let’s enjoy the ride and stop sniping at each other.

This is us now:

i think he will be fine with his multiple million dollar contracts and likely a multi million contract for broadcasting...
I was talking in terms of championships won. Money wise I never worry about these athletes they make a king's ransom for playing a sport (that does come with a bodily sacrifice) so in those terms if they have nothing by the end that's on them.

You don't deserve to be on a winner you have to earn it. This year, neither he nor DD are earning it. Hell, Davis's penalty yesterday is the reason we lost. And running to a contender at the twilight of your career is quitting. Players like Jordan don't quit. They get mad and they fight win or lose.
That was a BS DPI . I've seen that same play not called 80% of the time, In fact the panther DB did the SAME thing on the $th down pass to Wilson
So you are wrong on DD

he hung on one or two years too many. but got paid millions for it. i wouldve done the same if i wouldve ever had talent like him. squeeze the last few dollars out of them. look out for number 1
Maybe...except now the fan base has these last few seasons as our most recent memory of him. I guess if he doesn't care that the fans think he's old, slow and taking advantage of the situation, that'd be ok. I couldn't do it for as long as he did. He was done 3 years ago....that's a long time milking it.

Athletes, especially ones who are and have played at the highest level, will always believe in some form or fashion, they can still do it. At 60 years old and as a lifelong golfer, my goal is to shoot at least one round in the 60's. This year I only had one. My mind says I can. My body mostly cooperates. But most days it's a struggle to break 80. I don't blame Jordan or any athlete getting paid as long as someone will pay them. For a long time, the Saints organization was knocked for not taking care of its players. Now, with Loomis, it's swung in the other direction. He has personal feeling for guys like Jordan. I get it. Don't necessarily dislike it. But the only way to move forward as an organization, the Saints need someone in the GM role that looks at the cap from a different perspective. The can has been kicked down the road for guys it should not have been.

I really wish he'd have retired before last season, this can't be helping what should be a 1st ballot HOF career.

Best Saints defensive player of all time. Man it is disheartening to see this.
I wouldnt say so yet... He really doesnt have the HoF stats yet and is certainly nowhere near Rickey.

Right now he is borderline HoF - nowhere near 1st ballot. He matches in the vicinity of other players still hoping to get in...

Jared Allen (better numbers)
John Abraham
Leslie O'Neil
Robert Mathis
Simeon Rice
Clyde Simmons
Greg Townsend
Pat Swilling
Neil Smith

Not to mention other guys he would be behind.

JJ Watt (three time DPOY, plus five first team all-pro selections VS one for Jordan)
Von Miller (more sacks, 2 SB rings, three first team all-pro selections)
Terrell Suggs (more sacks, 2 SB rings, one DPOY)
Aaron Donald (not an edge, but clearly HOF bound, 1 SB ring, three time DPOY, plus eight first team all-pro selections)

Hey what a coincidence, I'm also 60 and my goal is to also shoot at least one round in the 60's.....for 9 holes though, right :)
