N/S Cam Ward's message to NFL teams: 'If you don't draft me, that's your fault ... and I'll remember that.' (1 Viewer)

I hear they have this great DE. He’s got really good size but never really showed much on the field because he was always hurt.
Right lol?
Speaking of, did y’all see Turner’s IG post the other day? He said no matter how great you are you’re worthless if you’re in the wrong place.

Will he be the next Baun? Clearly what he’s implying…..

Watch Miami vs Syracuse 2024. Cam Ward vs Kyle McCord and tell me which of the two Qbs has a betterNFL skillset. If you have the patience, watch the 24 minute game highlight video that I attached. Stick with it, because Miami went up 21-0 midway through the 2nd quarter and McCord leads Syracuse back to win the game.

In 2024, Cam Ward's yards and TDs were largely derived from improvised, roll out, scramble type plays where he eventually chucked the ball downfield. Will that work in the NFL? Maybe. It will cost you a top 3 pick to find out.

McCords yards and TDs come from film study during the week, understanding defensive alignments, precision passing, pocket awareness, and timing. Will that work in the NFL? It historically has, but it will cost you anywhere from the 75th to 130th overall pick to find out. I think that we all remember someone who had a lot of the same qualities.

One QB is threatening teams that don't take him in the top 5 overall. The other is quietly waiting to reward the team that believes in him enough to draft him, wherever that happens to be. McCord has a chip on his shoulder that Ohio State put there and it has only gotten bigger as the draft "experts" overlook him. I hope that Moore and Nussmeier have their sights on McCord and don't let him get away.

Is Ward 100 plus draft spots better? You tell me.

No. And I could've told you that without watching that video. It really blows my mind how much scouts look at physical capability to be able to react with success vs football IQ.

Cam Ward shouldn't be a top 10 pick. Sanders shouldn't even be in the first 3 rounds. Dillion Gabriel is probably the best with Dart being a close second best and McCord being the third best, and neither one of them are top 5 talent. Yet Garbriel and McCord are being pushed back rounds because they win with football IQ more then physical domination at a position where the best QB's in history were super high IQ.

In truth, if Gabriel was 6'2 or more, he'd probably be talked about in the first round, maybe even above Cam Ward. If Ole Miss had a good play caller, Dart probably would as well.
