The defense has room to play better but four games in and they are being asked to shoulder most of the load. Who are we beating scoring 9 points?

We would have beat the Bucs if the defense would have kept them to 8. Don't we have more weapons then the Bucs. You keep ignoring the fact that this D gave up 26 points to the BUCS. I already said it was a good defense. We just not elite.

I’m not ignoring it. I’m saying after four weeks, the defense isn’t getting enough help from the offense. Because of that, I’m not surprised they aren’t holding up as well.

It’s absurd to expect a defense to hold an opponent to 8 or fewer points, especially in this era. Who knows, if this offense could sustain more drives and actually score touchdowns, maybe your expectations for the defense would start to seem more realistic.
