How is it that CBS is showing the NFC game between Saints Panthers game and not Fox?

I think this is something that changed a few years back.

Not sure what the rules of engagement are between the networks.

They had the authorization to keep that game and not have it flexed due to programming. I think for you guys the game was higher priority for CBS to keep it. When they flexed our game out for the Packers @ Niners, they still had a priority for our game in the morning and the afternoon game that was not flexed but held as their primary Cowboys/patties game for the non flex type game. Basically Fox kept their Cowpatty/patties game and allowed the niner game to be flexed. They slid my game in that slot. I think you will understand if you can decipher this.

their just trying to improve themselves & overall viewer numbers by showing the Saints.

Also, AFC has pretty much been a one team league for a long time. So to get more viewership, they have had to expand their market to NFC to get some real fans to watch the games.
