It's an intriguing thought. He's backed up and advised a lot of really good QBs and is really smart.

He would fit that more than most because he spent 14 years and made $41m in the NFL as a career backup. He must have been doing something right for those teams because he did that and only made 6 starts in his career.

It’s easier to see defenses pre-snap from the sidelines, without a helmet on, and all of the stuff flowing in/out of your head, pressed for time.
