Thuney is due an extension and they want/need to go younger since they’ve got a lot of $ tied up in vets.

From a Saints perspective, I wonder if they will have interest in Bears FA Tevin Jenkins now that the Bears are definitely letting him walk. He'd be a good fit at LG. Spotrac has him getting $10mil/yr on a three year deal.

Age/contract move to me. Bears have had a nightmare OL situation the past few years. Thuney is an immediate and quality upgrade to their line for their sophmore QB. Really good trade for both teams imo
