Correct. The EE isn’t really anti-politics so much as it is anti-argument. So as long as we pretty much all agree I think it’s a safe EE topic. Monologue should be safe.

China handled this so badly. Had they simply said "we welcome pelosi to the Chinese province of Taiwan and hope she will also visit us on the mainland someday" they would have looked strong and gotten their message across. Now they look weak because they threatened the USA and the USA didnt flinch an inch.

Seems to me it's going to happen at some point. China isn't going to just let it go.
