City Mask Mandate Lifted - Does It Apply to the Game As Well (1 Viewer)

With, the mask mandate being lifted in the city effective tomorrow, does this change anything with regards to entry to the Dome on Sunday? Are they still checking for vaccines or negative tests? Not seeing anything online about it, including the Saints or Dome sites.

They dropped the mask requirement. I'm not sure about the vaccine stuff. Honestly they didn't even check it last game.

I think the mayor said on the radio, that they were ok to lift the mask mandate because so many have taken the vaccine, or had to have a negative test. So I assume one the test is still required. But I have been wrong before!

FWIW, I went to the Giants game. They checked my vax status but lots of people were maskless once they got in. Probably best to carry one in your pocket just in case.

They already announced that masks are NOT required at the game.

Judging by the link posted above from the City of New Orleans website, nothing seems to have changed regarding attending games.

• mask mandate in effect in public indoor spaces​

• vaccine/negative test required at all indoor sports complexes, stadiums & arenas​

• proof of vaccination or negative PCR/antigen tests will be required at all indoor gatherings at establishments included in these requirements​
