Closer look at Kellen Moore in the NFCCG today (20 Viewers)

I would watch the Philly game today..

Will do. I couldn't find who is agent is, but I can add.

I can get behind a Kellen Moore hiring. He has the OC experience and being a coaches son puts it in his blood.

If it is Kellen Moore, then at 1.9 the New Orleans Saints select: RB Ashton Jeanty

Anyone that watched Moores offence for the chargers last year can’t honestly think this guy would be a good choice.
Definitely not the offensive guy that people on this board think, that’s for sure.

But as a last resort I’d take him over Rizzi.

He has shown nothing that he’s more deserving then Kafka and I barely even knew who Kafka was a couple weeks ago

You've clearly seen the type of offense he likes to run. Now compare it to a Chargers team that lacked running backs. They tried to make Eckler their every down RB and he's simply not cut out for that.

He's run a top ten offense 4 out of his 6 years as an OC. One of the two bad years he had Dalton, Gilbert and some guy named DiNucci starting 11 games for him, the other was the RB-less Chargers. But sure go off just that one year with the Chargers.

Agreed, the Kafka thing is as puzzling as well. At this point I dunno it’s gotta be MM or maybe Gruden if we want any chance of avoiding a disastrous next 3 years.

The Philly offense hasn’t done anything but ride Barkley behind the talented OL. Jalen Hurts has even taken a step back in terms of progression that his own WR’s were disgruntled this season.

Moores stint last year with the Chargers was nothing to ride home about either.

I just don’t see why Moore should be chosen over McCarthy if the two are both viable options.

You mean the same Chargers offense that lost Herbert, Allen, Williams, Palmer, and Ekeler for long periods of time. Including Herbert and Williams to season ending injuries. Also the same team that had a defensive head coach that was one of the worst decision makers of all time. Most thought he should’ve being fired the year before. That’s why Sean was linked to them.

Loomis has to know Rizzi isn’t an option after the DA disaster. I saw an analysis from 2021 (forgot where) that showed how internal promotions have a high failure rate, with the creator saying he thought Freddie Kitchens would be the last of those mistakes in the NFL.

Hiring Rizzi would be trying that historically failing strategy a second time in a row.

Why Kellen over Kafka? Just an innocent question.

What has Kafka done without Mahomes?

Moore has worked with Dak, Herbert and now Hurts. He also backed up Stafford as a player in Detroit. He has his team in the NFC Championship game with a RB who can "throw" at QB. I wouldn't read too much into his time with the Chargers, that was a talent depleted/injured team with a banged up Herbert. I like that he's worked with different styles of QBs, that's a bonus.
